About us 

'Kong Reviews' was founded in 2020 by a bunch of long time kaiju-fanatic friends and geeks who love films. We want to share our passion with everyone, no matter how little or much they love kaiju / monster films! During the younger years of childhood, we had all always been fascinated by Kaiju movies. The excitement of hearing of a new release, impatiently waiting to rush back home, hoping we hadn't missed out. This childhood excitement is what made us want to share and express our experiences with other like-minded people, choosing to form a small independant film review company.

At the start of our journey, we knew what we set out to create, however getting the right footing first was already quite the challenge. Our main focus was striving for creating a site that is both entertaining and informative to its viewers. To achieve this, our first job was to find a way to do this. Luckily, with the help of a large interested company, we were able to accumulate enough funds to be able to make the first drafts of site available to the public. Whilst this draft was very limited, this lead to our second job being to flesh out the site with our reviews of some of our favourite films. These reviews were our main source of large publicity and recognition, using our own unique style of reviewing kaiju films (whether it be a cult classic or new box office hit) to hook in our newly invested audience.

Finally, our third job was to spread our love for Kaijuu movies by expanding from website to website. This included Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Youtube and later our own Spotify podcast. We are so proud with what we managed to achieve since first laying eyes on this project. The journey has been a tough and stressful uphill battle, especially during the early years of development through the pandemic, but we can finally say we have now managed to find our proper footing in the media industry and solidified our own unique styles of reviews.

To end this off, both everyone working behind the scenes (the team) and I want to share our appreciation for each and everyone of you for everything you have done to help us achieve our goals.
