About The Music Box

The music box was founded in 2022 by a bunch of geeks who love music. We want to share our passion with everyone that has an interest in collecting music related products like Vinyls, Cd’s, Tour shirts, Posters etc.

- You name it! -

At the start of our journey, we knew we wanted to create a shop that gives the community a safe space to communicate but couldn't put our heads together on what it was going to be about. Our first job as a team was to find out exactly what we really wanted to incorporate into our shop. Of course, us all being massive fans of rock and metal, it didn't take us much time to realise we wanted to sell music. Secondly, we tried finding the best location to run our shop. After countless hits and misses, we decided to eventually set up in Cowley Road (Oxford). It has endless amounts of concerts and festivals, which was perfect for us as we were really close by.    

Our final job was to create this website and in doing so we feel we have helped increase our social interactivity and broaden our scope to a much wider demographic of individuals. It also helps us more easily communicate to our customers who might want to strike up a conversation or need help about any queries they may have.   

For our goal, we want our customers to converse, share music tastes and just have fun in the moment. To do so, customers can come have a look at our wares at the shop or, if they are unable to do so, can also shop online on this newly created website. Customers can even request for an album of their choice not in stock, which we order and deliver straight to their home in 3-5 business days. Currently, we intend on extending out our shop to house a small cafe where customers can have a bite to eat whilst feeling relaxed in a comfortable environment.           

In our persistence, the team has dedicated a significant amount of time and effort to achieve this goal. In doing so we hope you will support us in any future projects that arise.
